Docuworx DII for Intelligent Document Processing
Turn multilingual documents into checked, indexed information for the next business action.
Built around the documents your customers and suppliers actually send
A changed invoice layout, a missing reference, or a document in another language can interrupt an otherwise routine process. Docuworx Intelligence Indexing (DII) is our developed document processing service, created in response to real customer requirements and refined through live implementations. It identifies agreed document types, extracts relevant information and prepares the index fields your team needs to find and use the record. Configured checks flag incomplete or inconsistent information and send it to a reviewer before it progresses.
DII supplies checked information to the process. Docuworx designs and implements the surrounding workflow automation, repository configuration and system connections. DocuWare provides the trusted document management foundation; DII is a distinct Docuworx service included where the agreed solution calls for it.
Languages Supported
DII supports document recognition and extraction for the agreed fields in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) and Malay (Bahasa Melayu). We assess representative documents in each required language to confirm the layouts, fields and review rules for your process. Ask us about other language requirements.

Core Capabilities
Processing intelligence configured for your documents
DII prepares information for use; the surrounding solution determines its routing, storage and system updates.
Multilingual recognition and extraction
Read the agreed fields in the supported languages. Assess representative documents so the configuration reflects their layouts and content.
Document classification
Identify the document types relevant to the process and select the corresponding fields and checks.
Business-specific indexing
Prepare searchable fields around meaningful references such as supplier, customer, purchase order, date or amount.
Validation using business rules
Check required fields, totals, possible duplicates and reference matches where the necessary data and configured rules are available.
Human exception review
Present uncertain or inconsistent information for review and correction before accepting it for the next step.
Connection to the delivered solution
Provide accepted fields to workflow automation and scoped integrations. The document management platform retains the source record under configured access.
DII was developed when customer requirements exceeded the capabilities available in the standard platform at the time. It has continued to evolve through the document variations and exceptions encountered in live work. DocuWare IDP is a separate product; proposals should identify which processing service is included.
Use Cases
Apply DII where document variations create repeated work
Scope the documents and fields around the decision they support. Examples to assess include:
- Invoices and accounts payable documents
- Purchase orders and supplier statements
- Delivery dockets and freight documents
- Contracts and agreements
- Forms and incoming correspondence
An invoice may require checking supplier and purchase-order references before approval. A supplier statement may need extracted lines for reconciliation. A delivery document may need an order reference to retrieve it. Explore accounts payable automation, supplier statement reconciliation, and contract management for the full business process.

Integrations
Agree the handoff between DII and your systems
We define the fields DII should prepare, which system owns the reference data and when accepted information should move. The agreed integrations can supply data for validation or pass checked results to finance, ERP or other applications. We configure repository permissions and task routing in the relevant components of the delivered solution.
Document processing and a successful system update are separate stages. We define how failed transfers and unresolved items reach the responsible person, so your team can see what was accepted and what still needs attention.
